125.1 cm^2 to 1 D.P.

Explanation:

We could use Heron's formula to do this

Area = √(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) ) where s is the semi-perimeter and a b and c are the lengths of the 3 sides

So we have:

s = (17+17+17) / 2 = 25.5

and Area = √(25.5)(25.5 - 17)^3)

= √15660.1875

= 125.14 cm^2
