Coral is a keystone species for the Great Barrier Reef. Many organisms and ecosystems in the reef rely on coral for a variety of reasons. Ocean acidification bleaches coral and kills coral. Explain the impact this would have on the biodiversity of the ecosystems within the Great Barrier Reef.

Answer:

Due to the large amounts of ecosystems that are built around coral reefs, many of these habitats will not be dying and detoriariting because of ocean acidification. The effect on biodiversity this will have is it will destroy many homes for many aquatic animals and will lower population within the area.
