If i am understanding your question correctly the slope equation would be y=2x+(-8)

Explanation:

So 2 is gonna be your slope -8 is your y intercept, you are going to put a point at (0,-8) and the slope is always rise over run so you are going to rise up 2 points on your y axis and move to the right 1 unit on your x axis. You should have two points now, to finish your line keep going up 2 units and to the right 1 unit.
