Global warming itself isn’t a feedback loop, it is caused by radiative forcing an induced response to the emission of greenhouse gases by humans. There are both positive and negative feedback loops that exist in global warming and climate change. Overall studies show the climate temperature response is higher than that implied by radiative forcing response of the emissions alone - so that means that the “positive” (reinforcing) feedbacks are dominating. Although many feedbacks are already in play there are some big potential reinforcing feedbacks that haven’t really started yet, so we have that to look forward to!
