SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER THESE. 10 POINTSSS!!!

1.Write the equation of a line : (1,5) (2,7)
2. write the equation of a line : (0,1) (3,-8)
3. write the equation of a line : (2,-3) (4,-2)

Explanation:

y=kx+m

k=y2-y1 / x2-x1

1. k=7-5/2-1= 2/1=2

y=2x+m

we want to find out what m is. to do so insert one of the points and solve the equation.

I'll choose (1.5)

5=2×1+m

m= 3

to make sure it's correct I'll use the other point too and see if I get the same answer.

(2.7)

7=2×2+m

m=3

the equation you'll end up with is


1) \: \: \: \: \: y = 2x + 3

do the same to the other ones.


2) \: \: \: \: y = - 3 + 1

try doing the 3 one yourself
