If a enzyme denatures, it slows down because:

• It begins to use a new substrate

• it gets bigger and can’t move

• it changes shape and the substrate won’t fit

• it become to small

Answer:

The answer would be "C" because when an enzyme denatures, it changes it shape so that the substrate won't fit anymore. On a side note, when an enzyme is placed in an environment out of its pH or tempertaure range, it can denature.
