Quantity of dry fish food with Fred :-

= 6 (3)/(4) \: pounds

Number of containers he will divide it into = 5

Quantity of food in each container :-

= 6(3)/(4) / 5

= ((4 * 6 + 3))/(4) / 5

= ((24 + 3))/(4) / (5)/(1)

= (27)/(4) / (5)/(1)

= (27)/(4) / (1)/(5)

= (27 * 1)/(4 * 5)

= (27)/(20)

= 1 (7)/(20)

Therefore , each container contains :-

1 (7)/(20) \: pounds \: of \:d ry \: fish \: food \: .
