The ratio of berries to oranges is 10:1 if there are 25 oranges, how many berries are there?

Answer:

There are 250 berries.

Explanation:

There are 10 berries per 1 orange.

We have 25 oranges.

To find out how many groups of berries to oranges there will be I will divide 25 by 1.


25/1=25


x*y=z

x = Amount of groups

y = Amount of berries per group

z = Amount of berries total.

Substitute values:


25*10=250

There are 250 berries total!
