Help pls. The number of questions that students missed on a 50 question science midterm is represented by the box and whisker plot below.

Which of the following statements is most likely to be true?

A. If the lowest grade of an A is an 88% then about 25% of the students earned an A.

B. About 25% of the students failed the exam.

C. About 75% of the students scored between 80% and 88% and earned a B.

D. If the lowest passing grade is 60% then some students failed the exam.

Explanation:

We know that to grade something by percentage missing a certain amount of questions effects your grade. Think back to your last test. Maybe you got 3 or 4 wrong and ended up getting an 80 percent. Here we are going based off 50 questions. We know that if we get 19 questions wrong out of 50 we would get a 62%. If we got 14 wrong we would have a 72%. 9.5=81%. 6=88% and 4=92%. We already know the answer is NOT d or c because each section of the box and whisker is 25%. This means that the answer is 100% B. Especially because they asked what was most likely true and none of the other answers matched up.
