A football team loses 3 yards on each of 4 consecutive plays. Find the total change in yards from where the team started.

-12, If your loosing 3, it’ll be a negative number. If you loose 3 yard 4 times, it’ll be multiplying -3 • 4 and when multiplying two numbers that have different signs, the product will be negative. So, if you just multiply 3x4 it’ll equal 12. But they have different signs so it’ll be -12. :)
