Equation in slope intercept form :

y = (1)/(2) x + </strong><strong> </strong><strong>7</strong><strong>(1)/(2)

Slope = ½

Explanation:

y - 6 = (1)/(2) (x + 3)

Expand

y - 6 = (1)/(2) x + (3)/(2)

Collect like terms and simplify

y = (1)/(2) x + (3)/(2) + 6

y = (1)/(2) x + (15)/(2)

Slope = ½
