element: is a pure substance with one type of atom, and what makes an element unique is its atomic/proton number
isotopes: is two or more species of atoms of a chemical element with the same atomic/proton number.(meaning in I should job has the same element but different neutrons)
ions: is a atom that has lost or gained electrons
Hopefully i could help(this was all from my notes so it’s a bit more simplified!!
