notice the first equation is the second equation squared.

For instance, look at the numerator: a squared is a^2

Look at the denominator: a^2 squared is a^4 and so on.

So if the second equation is 1/6, then you need to square it to have it equal the second equation: (1/6)^2 = 1/36
