A scientific theory is a detailed reasoning of a well supported observation or experiment. Though, not just anyone can create a scientific theory... it has to be widely accepted throughout the scientific community!

A law on the other hand, is simply a description of things that happen in the natural world. It doesn't quite say why, with a law, it just is what it is! Laws don't become theories and theories do not become laws!
