Explanation:

The leg that is the base is always seen as the bottom, and the leg to the side of it that makes the right angle will always be the height. Though if the base is at the hypotenuse as it is seen in the last photo, the height will be from the point of which the two legs of the triangle meet down to the hypotenuse.
