f(x) = 2x^2 - 5g(x) = x^2 - 4x - 8(f - g)(x)=2x^2 -5 - (x^2 -4x-8)


= 2x^2 -5 -x^2 +4x+8 ----------> distribute


= x^2 +4x +3 ------------> combine like terms
