Answer:
y= -7/8x – 1
Explanation:
the first equation would be y= 8/7 + 6/7
the perpendicular slope would be -8/7
and I solved for b by plugging in what I know for y=mx+b
which is 6= -7/8(-8) + b
simplify so 6 = 7 + b
subtract 7 on both sides to get b = -1
