Answer: Outside of the bear.

Explanation: When a gummy bear is placed in water, it grows slightly bigger and it’s sweet taste becomes sour. The dissolved solute goes outside of the bear which is why the taste changes from fully sweet to sour on the outside and sweet on the inside. The inside of the gummy bear isn’t affected like the outside of the gummy bear.
