-3+5 goes first. Since 3 is negative and the 5 is positive, to make it easier you can just flip them around. So it would be
5-3, which is 2

we would do the same with
-2+6, flipping it to be
6-2, 4.

now we are left with a positive 4 and a positive 2, making the equation look like this

+4+2

the plus in front of the four isnt necessary, so we can just wipe it.

4+2

i would hope you know how to do that; it would be 6.

there are many ways to solve a problem and many ways to show your work. I personally write out my thought process as if i was trying to teach it to someone so the teacher understands why i did it the way i did it. The other answer is far more straight forward than this one, but I'm hoping that maybe you can use this method later to be able to solve it on your own?

Answer:

6

Explanation:

You can split this equation into portions. Since there is only addition and subtraction, PEMDAS does not apply, and the order you add or subtract doesn't matter.

-3+5-2+6

2-2+6

0+6

6
