Hey there!

11(12 + u)

= 11(12 + 1u)

DISTRIBUTE 11 WITHIN the PARENTHESES

= 11(12) + 11(1u)

= 11(12) + 11(u)

= 132 + 11u

= 11u + 132

Therefore, the answer should be:

11u + 132

Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!

\bigstar To simplify this expression, Multiply 11 (the number outside the parentheses) by every term

inside the parentheses, as follows:-

\text{$(11*12)+(11* u)$}

Simplifying,

\text{132+11u}

\Uparrow\textsf{Our simplified expression (with the help of the distributive property)}

Please note that we cannot simplify this any further, because
\textbf{132 and 11u are not like terms.}

Good luck with your studies.
