Answer: i < 20

Work Shown:

16 > i - 4

16+4 > i-4+4

20 > i

i < 20

In the second step, I added 4 to both sides to undo the -4

In the last step, I swapped both sides and I flipped the inequality sign.

If you want to graph this on a number line, then plot an open hole at 20. Then shade to the left to represent all the values smaller than 20.
