I cant really give the page numbers but I believe it’s about loyalty and bravery. Bilbo was extremely brave and matured throughout the book while the others didn’t. He was the one who took risks and went ahead of the company to fulfill the duties of being the burglar. For example, the part where they were in Mirkwood, Bilbo killed off the spiders by using the ring, he saved the company from dying. Another one is when he went inside the mountain while Smaug was in there to retrieve gold or the Arkenstone, i cant remember. One more is when he escaped imprisonment in Laketown and helped the dwarves as well. He showed his loyalty throughout the book the Thorin and the rest of the company by saving them and caring for them. These reasons are why the main theme is bravery and loyalty.
