What does it mean when they ask "What is the domain of f(x)," and the range?

Answer:

The domain is the set of values of "x" for which the function has meaning.

Based on my knowledge x can be any real number except for zero.

The range of f(x) is the same as finding all that y could be.

The range of f(x) is all the y values where there is a number x with y = f(x).
