Explanation:

This is physics, so I'll use the most common formula. v=d/t. Convert 5 mins to an hour. 5min/60min = 1/12hr.

v= 1.25 miles / 1/12hr

v= 15miles/hr (west). Don't forget the right arrow on the v.
