Write and solve an inequality that shows how many months it would take for the total paid to be less for Apartment B.

It takes 9 or more months for the Apartment B to pay less than Apartment A.

Explanation:

Apartment B:

8 x 350 = $2800

$2800 + $500 = $3300

9 x 350 = $3150

$3150 + $500 = $3650

Apartment A:

$400 x 8 = $3200

$3200 + $100 = $3300

9 x 400 = 3600

3600 + 100 = 3700
