number of cards in each suit = 13 , since there is a heart in every suit

The probability of picking a heart ( h ) = 1/13

probability of landing a 5 on a roll of dice (d ) = 1/6

Therefore the probability of A heart is picked and a 5 is landed on a roll of dice

P(A) = P( h ) and P( d ). This is because the events are independent of each other

= 1/13 + 1/6

= 0.0769 + 0.1667 = 0.2436 ≈ 0.244
