Four o’clock flowers can be red (RR), white (rr), or pink (Rr). If a pink flower and red flower are crossed, what will be the phenotypic ratio?
100% pink
50% red, 50% pink
100% Rr
50% RR, 50% Rr

  • Red is (RR)
  • Pink is (Rr)

So if both are crossed

  • The total combination is 100%
  • But as there are 2 so it should be 100/2=50% for Red and pink

So

the ratio is

  • 50% RR and 50% rr
