3(x+2)=3x+4
Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.
3(x+2)=3x+4(3)(x)+(3)(2)=3x+4
(Distribute)
3x+6=3x+4
Step 2: Subtract 3x from both sides.
3x+6−3x=3x+4−3x6=4
Step 3: Subtract 6 from both sides.
6−6=4−6
the answer is -2
hope this helped :)
