If 2/3 of the girls in class have brown eyes and 1/4 of the girls have blue eyes, what fraction of the girls in class have neither blue nor brown eyes?

it’s 4/7 because you add the denominators which is the total of all the girls in class and you add the 1 girl remaining from the 2/3 that don’t have brown eyes and you add the other 3 girls from 1/4 that don’t have blue eyes so you add the numerators from the girls that don’t have blue or brown eyes and that becomes the numerator and the denominator becomes the total of girls that’s in the class so the fraction would be 4/7
