What does the final x equals in the following equation
2x+3=x-4

2x -x = -4 -3
you bring over the common numbers

final answer: x=-7

Answer:

x = -7

2x + 3= x - 4

2x + 3 - 3 = x - 4 - 3 (Subtract 3 from both sides)
