A store sells small notebooks for $7 and large notebooks for $14. If a student buys 6 notebooks and spends $63, how many of each size did he buy?

3 small notebooks and 3 large ones
My reasoning is 3 times 7 is 21
63 - 21 = 42
3 times 14 is 42
So 42 + 21 = 63
Therefore 3 small and 3 large
