Hi there! :)

\large\boxed{ l = 19 in}

Formula for the perimeter of a rectangle:

P = 2l + 2w

Let w = width, and (2w - 3) = length. Plug in the given expressions:

60 = 2(2w - 3) + 2(w)

Distribute the coefficient outside of the parenthesis:

60 = 4w - 6 + 2w

Combine like terms:

60 = 6w - 6

Add 6 to both sides:

66 = 6w

Divide both sides by 6:

w = 11

Substitute in this value of "w" into the equation for the length:

2(11) - 3 = 19.
