Answer:

n = -7

Explanation:

Add '-24' to each side of the equation.

24 + -24 + 6n = -18 + -24

Combine like terms: 24 + -24 = 0

0 + 6n = -18 + -24

6n = -18 + -24

Combine like terms: -18 + -24 = -42

6n = -42

Divide each side by '6'.

n = -7

Simplifying

n = -7
