m<A=8x+14

m<B=2x+50

8x+14=2x+50

So you want to get x alone so subtract 2x from each side.

6x+14=50

Since the variable is not alone you will also need to subtract 14 from both sides.

6x=36

You will need to divide both sides by 6

x=6

You now have x. You need angle B though so your not finished.

Plug 6 in for x.

2(6)+50

12+50
