Answer:

38400/=

Explanation:

8(p-1500)=8p-12000

2(p+1000)= 2p+2000

8p-12000+2p+2000=53000

10p-10000=53000

10p=53000+10000

10p=63000

p=6300/=

8 books=8(6300-1500)

=38400/=
