A chocolate chip cookie recipe that makes 24 cookies uses 3/4 cups of sugar. if raphael wants to make 48 cookies, how much sugar does he need

1.5 cups of sugar.
To figure this out I just figured out how many times 24 goes in to 48 ( two times) and then multiplied the amount of sugar the same amount as I did the amount of cookies (which is x2) so the answer is 1.5! Hope this helps
