Answer:

Globalization is the process by which world economies, cultures, societies and markets have been unifying, homogenizing and interrelated, generating a more interconnected world. This has been possible due to the different technological advances in communication and transport, such as the development of the Internet or the massification of commercial airlines, for example.

This process must be understood within the sphere of consumption, as the pre-eminence of capitalism as an economic system since the fall of the Soviet Union has set this process on fire, causing the global evolution towards a consumer society to accelerate. Therefore, today globalization implies the existence of unified markets, which facilitate access to consumer goods in any sector of the planet and generate greater economic productivity of the different nations.
