Answer:

\huge{ \fbox{ \sf{Mean}\tt{ = 5.4}}}

\huge{ \fbox{ \sf{Mode = \tt{8}}}}

Explanation:

\text{ \sf{ \: \textcircled{1}}}
\underline{ \sf{Given \: data}} :

\sf{10 \: , \: 8 \: , \: 6 \: , \: 0 \: , \: 8 \: , \: 3 \: , \: 2 \: , \: 5 \: , \: 8 \: , \: 4}

\sf{ \sum x \: ( \: Sum \: of \: all \: items)} : 10 + 8 + 6 + 0 + 8 + 3 + 2 + 5 + 8 + 4

\sf \: \: \: \: \: { \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: :54}

\sf{ \: n \: ( \: Total \: number \: of \: items) : 10}

\underline{ \sf{ \: To \: find \:}} : \sf{Mean \: of \: the \: given \: data}

To obtain mean of the given data , divide the sum of all the items by the number of items.

\boxed{ \sf{ Mean \: = (Sum \: of \: all \: the \: items( \: \sum x ))/(The \: number \: of \: items \: ( \: n \: )) }}

\longmapsto{ \sf{Mean = (54)/(10) }}

\longmapsto{ \sf{Mean = 5.4}}

Mean = 5.4

---------------------------------------------------------

\text{ \sf{ \textcircled{2}}}
\sf{{ \underline{Given \: data }}: \sf{10 \: , \: 8 \: , \: 6 \: , \: 0 \: , \: 8 \: , \: 3 \: , \: 2 \: , \: 5 \: , \: 8 \: , \: 4}}

The mode of a set of data is the value with the highest frequency . In the case of discrete data, mode can be found just by inspection, i.e just by taking an item with highest frequency.

Here, 8 has the highest frequency.

So, Mode = 8

Hope I helped!

Best regards! :D

Answer:

The mode is 8

The mean is 5.4

Explanation:

To find the mode you look for the most reocouring number in the number set, in this case that number is 8.

To find the mean you add up all the numbers and divide by the number of numbers in the set. In this case there are 10 numbers, so you add up all of the numbers then divide by 10.

I hope this answer was accurate and helpfull. Have a wonderful day!
