(5x + 12) and m2 = (6x - 11)", find <1).

m<1 = 127°

Explanation:

Vertical Opposite angles are always equal .

So as <1 & <2 are vertically opposite angles ,

m<1 = m<2

It's given that m<1 = 5x + 12 & m<2 = (6x - 11)

So ,


5x + 12 = 6x - 11


= > 6x - 5x = 12 + 11


= > x = 23

As the value of x = 23 , m<1 = 5x + 12

= 5×23 + 12

= 115 + 12

= 127°
