Answer:

In standard form: (x+2)² + (y-4)² = 98

Use the distance formula to find radius:

\sf d = √((x_2 - x_1)^2 + (y_2-y_1)^2)

where (x1, y1), (x2, y1) are points

\rightarrow \sf d = √((-2 - 5)^2 + (4-(-3))^2)

\rightarrow \sf d = √((-7)^2 + (7)^2)

\rightarrow \sf d = 7√(2)

Equation of circle:

  • (x-h)² + (y-k)² = r²
  • (x-(-2))² + (y-4)² = (7√2)²
  • (x+2)² + (y-4)² = (7√2)²
  • (x+2)² + (y-4)² = 98
