Answer: People and groups offered their support to the Patriots, including women, African Americans, and foreign governments. Women supported the American Revolution by making cloth and producing goods and services. Some even served as spies! African Americans supported them by fighting for both sides and providing manpower to both the British and the revolutionaries. The foreign governments helped drastically, they provided most supplies and weapons. The stronger your government, the more powerful you were. These are three groups that supported the American Revolution.
