If Earth was 10 times farther away from the sun than it is now, which planet would it be closest to? (Assume all the planets are aligned with the sun and are on the same side of the sun.) Compare Earth's new distance to that planet. How far apart would they be in standard notation? How far apart in scientific notation? Show your work. Can y'all please give me the answer in km, Need answer asap. thx

Answer:

Earth is now 1,495,978,700 km or 1.495 billion km which is just over Saturn's' 1.43 billion km

Explanation:

Earth is this far from the son 149,597,870 km

149,597,870*10= 1,495,978,700 km

Mercury = 70 million km

Venus = 108 million km

Mars = 228 million km

Jupiter = 779 million km

Saturn = 1.43 billion km

Uranus = 2.88 billion km

Neptune = 4.50 billion km

Pluto = 5.91 billion km
