Answer: -83, -84

Explanation:

Let n= the smaller of the two integers, then

n+1 is the greater of the two integers. The sum of the two integers is:

n+(n+1)=-167

Combine like terms:

2n+1=-167

Subtract 1 from both sides:

2n=-168

Divide both sides by 2:

n=-84

Then n+1=-83

-84+-83=-167
