One less than the quotient of a number and negative 5

This question uses unusual wording. If we assume that the question should read: One less THAN a quotient of a number and -5, it makes a little more sense.


The quotient of a number and (-5) would be X/(-5), and one less than that would yield X/(-5) - 1
