Answer:

To find out the first three terms of 2n + 4 substitute 1 ,2 and 3 into the equation.

2(1)+4=2+4=6

2(2)+4=4+4=8

2(3)+4=6+4=10

As you can see the sequence goes up in 3s 6 ,8, 10 To find out the 9th term you also substitute 9 into the equation so

2(9)+4=18+4=22
