picking a number greater than 4 means to pick a 5.

out of 3 cards the probability to pick a specific one (like a 4 or a 5) is then 1/3.

so, the probability to pick a 4 as first card is 1/3.

now we put that card back and then draw a second card.

the probability to draw a 5 there is also 1/3.

so, the combination of the probabilities of both events is 1/3 × 1/3 = 1/9 = 0.111111111...
