\qquad\qquad\huge\underline{{\sf Answer}}

Total number of white buttons :

  • 10

Total number of buttons in Total :

  • 18

Total non - white buttons :

  • 18 - 10 = 8

So, probability of randomly selecting 1 button that isn't white is ~

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: p = ( non \: white \: )/(total)

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: p = (8)/(18)

Or

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: p = ( 4 )/(9)
