AREA

To find the area of a parallelogram, you multiply the base by the height.

12(6)=72

The area is 72 square centimeters.

PERIMETER

The two diagonal sides are 8 cm and the two bases are 12 cm.

8+8+12+12=40

The perimeter is 40 cm.
