We have,

11x + 6 = 8x + 30

\implies \: 11x - 8x = 30 - 6

\implies \: 3x = 24

\implies \: x = \cancel(24)/(3)

\implies \: x = 8

Hence,the value of x is 8 .

Answer:

\boxed{ \bold{ \huge{ \boxed{ \sf{x = 8}}}}}

Explanation:

\sf{11x + 6 = 8x + 30}

Move 8x to left hand side and change it's sign

Similarly, move 6 to right hand side and change it's sign

\dashrightarrow { \sf{11x - 8x = 30 - 6}}

Collect like terms

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{3x = 30 - 6}}

Subtract 6 from 30

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{3x = 24}}

Divide both sides by 3

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{ (3x)/(3) = (24)/(3) }}

Calculate

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{x = 8}}

Hope I helped!

Best regards! :D
