What is base rule of rounding off​

If the number you are rounding ends with 5,6,7,8, or 9 round up. If it ends with 0,1,2,3, or 4 round down. A chant I use to remember this is- “five or more, raise the score. Four or less, let it rest” (it’s silly, but it’s memorable.)
